Industrial Hygiene

Industrial Hygiene includes the development of corrective measures in order to control health hazards by either reducing or eliminating exposure. These control procedures may include the substitution of harmful or toxic materials with less dangerous ones, changing of work processes to eliminate or minimize work exposure, installation of exhaust ventilation systems, good housekeeping, and the provision of proper personal protective equipment.

Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)

Environmental Monitoring and Testing

Our Certified Industrial Hygienist and technicians will perform:

• Walk-through inspection of your home or building
• Measure building vital signs (Temperature, Humidity, Carbon Monoxide, and Carbon Dioxide)

If needed air, bulk, and swab samples, may be collected to determine the level of bacterial, chemical, or fungal contamination present.

Using guidelines established by OSHA , the EPA and other agencies, Environmental Safety Technologies, Inc. works to identify and provide recommendations to correct these problems.
